COVID and Flu Vaccinations

Bedlingtonshire Medical Group are in the final stages of planning our flu and COVID vaccinations.

We will be taking bookings from the 1 September 2025. Text links will be sent to patients from this date to book appointments.

Our initial clinics will be on Wednesday 1 October, Thursday 2 October and Friday 3 October 2025. 

We are offering a range of appointments to accommodate all patients. 

Patients will be invited to book their vaccine via a text self booking link. The link will be sent directly to your mobile telephone. 

If you have difficulty booking an appointment via the link, please contact the surgery via telephone and our Patient Services Team will be happy to help. 

Please be patient, it is likely that we will experience an increase of calls to the practice. Wait times may be longer than normal. We encourage all patients who are able to, to book via the booking link. This will free up our telephone lines for patients who do not have online facilities. 

We will be administering COVID vaccines at the same time as their flu injection to patients who are eligible.

We are working hard to ensure all eligible patients receive the vaccine. 

There is no need to contact the surgery. We will be in touch once appointments are available to book.
